Until this past week with the update my system was flying, now it is not. I am running an i7 quad core 2.67GHz with 12 Gig of RAM and 2 Gig on my video card, 1 year old. I can't run my programs well, my boot up takes for ever now and my system is justīagged down. I have taken the time to prove that it is a windows issue, not my other programs and not a virus. And looking in TASKMGR it's always MSCORSVW.EXE which is the culprit here, apparently doing what it wants to do. In a week (with the only change to my comptuer being the updates) I have gone from 19% RAM usage at rest to 52% and my CPU running at 2-4% to 20 to 30% and my computer is so loud I can't stay in the room. Since yesterday, I've seen the well-known and much described system of CPU usage shooting up (with corresponding fan increases to cool the very busy CPU, and associated fan noise). They tried to blame some of my running programs in the back ground. I spent two hours with the microsoft help guys yesterday. Into Window 8 or somthing by screwing this up. This mscorsvw.exe is using 2.8 gigs of memory constantly, my fan is running on high speed and I can't run anything on my system. I did the update this week or last as well and my computer is running like crazy.
